What is Renzo (REZ)?
Renzo is an innovative Liquid Restaking Token (LRT) and Strategy Manager that serves as a key interface within the EigenLayer ecosystem. Its main function is securing Actively Validated Services (AVSs), while also providing users with returns superior to traditional ETH staking. The Renzo protocol simplifies complex processes, facilitating effortless interactions between EigenLayer node operators and users. In addition, Renzo Protocol is governed by the REZ token, which is underpinned by another Liquid Restaking Token called ezETH for enhanced stability and security.
You can view, swap, send and receive REZ tokens directly from your MEW Wallet. To receive your REZ tokens you can send them to your public wallet address. You can then view them in your MEW Wallet by selecting your wallet and selecting the token from the tokens list. You should see the REZ token information page. You can send your REZ tokens in your MEW Wallet by clicking the ‘Send’ button and entering the recipient’s wallet address. To swap your REZ tokens, you can click the ‘Swap’ button and choose which tokens you want to swap to. However, if the ‘Swap’ button is not active you will need to use a DEX to swap your tokens.
